Everyone in the
business of developing hockey
players is trying to convince you
why their system is the best, most
effective method of training.
My suggestion is to shop around and
know what you are buying or who you
are training with. In the
hockey business I have
certainly seen enough false
advertising, fake resumes,
exaggerated claims and
outright lies to choke a donkey!
Many off-ice
trainers have never even played or
coached hockey players...so how do
they know what makes a good player?
Other coaches only work with elite
athletes so it's been a while since
they worked with a midget or junior
aged player (who has vastly
different goals compared to a pro).
I wish I could
be more professional and not talk so
much trash about hockey
trainers...but I just can't justify,
believe or trust many things they
say. So rather than sound
bitter I'll simply say this:
question everything and everyone
until they get you results!
Better yet, try a trainer who offers
a money back
guarantee...like
