Frequently Asked Questions

Why Choose DP Hockey?

DP Hockey is the largest internet based source for hockey dryland information and consulting services.  We are also one of the only internet companies who actually own a gym, work in the hockey world, and consult with thousands of hockey players worldwide each year.  Our continuing goal is to be the best...nothing else will do.  You can shop around for a training program all you like, but nobody offers the cutting edge, hardcore information like DP Hockey.  We provide outstanding service and guarantee all of our products and services fully.

Who Else Chooses DP Hockey?

To be the best, you have to work with the best.  We strive hard to work with the best bantam, midget, junior, college and pro players possible so we can combine our unique brand of training to a motivated and dedicated player.  Currently we work with a number of amateur, college and professional players and teams throughout the world.  We strive on a daily basis to expand our client list and work with the top players at each level.  Read some of our testimonials to see who has worked with DP Hockey.

Are the products at DP Hockey really that good?

A lot of time and money has gone into designing and perfecting our products.  From our peer reviewed and recommended Dryland Training for Hockey and The Sixth Warrior books, to our Monster Kettlebell and DP Strap we produce quality materials unlike anything else in the hockey industry.

Why does DP Hockey offer so much Free Content?

Most other sites want you to pay for content, articles, video's, etc.  Our thought is that if you like and trust what you read and see from DP Hockey, maybe you will try our dryland training services, or shop at our online store.  Think of it as the ultimate try-before-you-buy.

How do I register for a DP Hockey training services or conditioning camp?

Go to our secure online registration page in the training services section and place your order.  For conditioning camps you can sign up as they are listed on this site or in person at our training facility.

What if I'm not very physically fit?
Regardless of your current fitness or hockey level, we can help you improve!  NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely.  Nor will anybody go home unchallenged!  Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to train with DP Hockey.

What kind of guarantee is there?

Simply attend a DP Hockey training camp, or in-person training session for 4-weeks (12 sessions total).  If you are not happy with the results from your DP Hockey experience, just let me know after the 4 weeks is completed and I will give you 100% of your money back.

Try to find that kind of satisfaction guarantee from anyone else around and you simply won't!

What items do I need?
You need to wear gym clothing (shorts, track pants, t-shirt, gym shoes), bring a towel, a water bottle and a shaker bottle with your post workout protein/carbohydrate mix (so you can drink this right after the workout).  We will advise you on the kind and make of protein powder/carbohydrate powder you will need.

Other than that...just bring a good attitude and a willingness to work harder than you have worked before.  Building a better hockey player is hard work so bring your A-game to training sessions.

What can I expect to achieve from DP Hockey?
If you put forth the maximum effort you will become a better hockey player.  You'll be faster, stronger, more agile, flexible, self-confident, gritty, mentally tough and ready to play the best hockey of your life.

We do not want whiners, complainers, half-assed effort, or excuses.  Most people are soft, which is why they never  make it to the next level.  We know this and therefore will not stand for this in training.  Our motto is "fight to win, train to fight"...which means that everything we do is geared to helping you be the best player possible.

Will I be Sore sometimes?
Most people feel soreness for the first several days.  After that point, there's residual soreness, but nothing you can't handle.  It's part of the process that allows your body to adapt and improve!  Get used to being uncomfortable.  If you're not uncomfortable, your not improving!
