Sled
Dragging for Hockey Training

This article was
the first article ever published by Coach Pollitt
(in the Strength and Conditioning Journal, 2003,
Vol.25, No.3, pp 7-16).
To develop this method of training Coach Pollitt had a
prototype sled manufactured to certain specifications
for hockey specific training and David spent more than
600 hours testing this product with hundreds of junior
hockey players in Canada. In bringing this training
device to light Coach Pollitt was the first person
to develop the protocols and training methodologies for
the dragging sled for improving hockey specific
abilities.
